François Lamontagne is a well recognized show jumper having received the status of « Elite » by the Féderation Équestre du Québec (FEQ) through its Programme de développement de l’excellence. He is also a FEQ/Equine Canada certified Level 2 coach.
François has owned and operated Ferme Lamontagne in Saint-Eustache since 2005. He devotes his time to training horses and coaching riders who wish to compete on the Quebec, Ontario and US circuits. During the winter, his team spends several months competing on the Florida circuit.
2010 was an exceptional year for François. In addition to his multiple Grand prix wins, he captured the World Cup Qualifier of the Jumping Blainville, he qualified for the Talent Squad Final and won the year end championship in the 1m25, 1m35, 1m45 division. François is also dominating the young horse divisions.
